If you leave the tip of your caulking tube uncovered and the caulk hardens behind the opening, here’s the best way to get it flowing again. Cut the tip back so the hole is slightly larger. Then drive a screw into the plug of hardened caulk and use the screw to pull out the plug. A screw with coarse threads, such as a drywall or deck screw, works best.
