Get the Job Done in Half the Time
Paint both sides of a door at once with this nifty trick. Purchase three 3/8-in. x 4-in. lag bolts at a hard- ware store. Screw one into the center of the top edge and the other two into the bottom edge 6 in. in from each end. Paint one side of the door, then lift the door by the two bolts and flip it over using the sin- gle bolt as a pivot. Now paint the edges and other side of the door. When the door is dry, remove the bolts, fill the holes with putty and touch up with paint. — William G. Freed
