Sunday Lawn Care was launched in 2019 to redefine how homeowners can achieve a healthy lawn. “The current way to get a green yard is antiquated, confusing and totally toxic,” according to its website.

Colorado-based brothers Coulter and Trent Lewis set out to create natural lawn care products that deliver the right nutrients, in the right amount, at the right time of year. Their approach allows homeowners to ditch dangerous chemical pesticides and fertilizers for good.

Sunday uses more than a dozen nutrient pouches to ensure your lawn has what it needs to flourish. Most “smart lawn plans” (i.e., subscriptions) include three shipments of nutrients with two to four pouches in each shipment.

Every new lawn plan begins with a free laboratory soil test, so you can see what’s in your soil and adjust the nutrients in your plan if deficiencies are found. If you’re worried about white-coated grass scientists coming to your home to take soil samples, don’t. The company uses an advanced database of satellite imagery, local weather patterns and soil/climate science to create your smart lawn plan. You collect the soil to send back to Sunday’s laboratory for analysis.

Pestie was launched in 2019 to help homeowners circumvent the astronomical prices some pest-control companies were charging. By getting rid of traditional overhead cost — i.e., sales reps, technicians, trucks, equipment, etc. — it passes along savings to consumers and puts the power of pest control in their hands.
