From now through May 31, Makita is offering free labor and free “round trip” shipping for tool repairs at Makita Factory Service Centers. The company gives you a prepaid shipping label, performs the repair and then ships your repaired tool back to you. There are no labor or shipping costs. You pay only for replacement parts that are not under warranty.
How to Take Advantage of This Offer
Here’s what to do:

Request a prepaid COVID-19 shipping label. A prepaid FedEx label will be sent to you via email.

Print the label, affix it to a package and take it to a FedEx shipping location.

Makita receives and repairs your tool. Again, you pay only for parts not under warranty; ask for an estimate before repairs begin. No credit card information is required up front. Makita will contact you about a payment method before returning your tool.
Large Item Exclusions
Large items (70 lbs. or more) are not covered by this offer. Those must be brought to a Makita Factory Service Center — call 1 (800) 4-MAKITA to arrange a drop-off. Large tool drop-off is only available in the continental United States.
