Repurpose Ducting for Containing Hostas
Control your hosta growth with this simple gardening trick using only galvanized duct.
I like hostas, but I got tired of them spreading and taking over the whole garden. So I cut all the plants, including the roots, down to the size I wanted using a spade. Then I cut some 12-in. lengths of 8-in. diameter galvanized duct, and drove them into the ground around each plant. It works great to keep the plant from spreading. — Tom Dvorak
