Write the name of each item on an adhesive-backed computer or address label. Label each hole, and whenever you’re working in the shop and notice you’re almost out of an item, insert a golf tee by the appropriate label. Before your next trip to the store, check the board and you’ll have a reminder of those perpetually needed supplies. Thanks to faithful reader R. B. Himes for teeing up another good tip.
