I created a powercharging station where Icould amass a bunch of mybattery chargers. All the chargers were connected to one power strip. It did help organize my shop, but italways bugged me that all those chargers sprang to life when I turned onthe power strip even when I onlyneeded to charge one battery.

Tripp Lite, model TLP76MSG, Surge Protector and Power Strip

Awhile ago, I created a powercharging station where Icould amass a bunch of mybattery chargers. All the chargers were connected to one power strip. It did help organize my shop, but italways bugged me that all those chargers sprang to life when I turned onthe power strip even when I onlyneeded to charge one battery. Not abig deal if the chargers are empty, but I often leave batteries sitting inthe cradle until theyre needed again. I solved the problem by buying apower strip that has a separateswitch for each outlet. There are afew brands available online. I boughtthe Tripp Lite model TLP76MSG. Six of the outlets are switchedwhile one stays on all the time, andall seven have surge protection.
