Bear Gaylord

Bear Gaylord lives in Columbus, Indiana, with his wife and three children. A longtime high school teacher, he now struggles to outwit his elementary students, with whom he shares a love of recess and snow days. Recently, he won Sycamore Review's Wabash Prize for his writing. He spends his best days in the backyard with his family, searching for dragons and feasting on dirt tartare.
